Core Values – What Defines and Guides ABS

defining core valuesAs I have said many times before, our core values are central to who we are, what we stand for and what we do. As ABS is laying the foundation for continued and accelerated growth, I felt as though it was a good time to hit the ‘pause button’ and truly define what our core values are as a company.

Sure, our clients and business partners may know ABS to be full of ‘work hard, play hard’ individuals complete with a great sense of humor. Yet, what else motivates us? What other values was the organization founded on over 43 years ago that are still a part of the ABS culture today? I put together a team of both seasoned and newer ABS employees to find out.

Listening to employees speak candidly about where ABS both thrives and even falls short, was both insightful and inspiring, to say the least. It provided me with a renewed perspective of where ABS has been, where we are going, and how important it is to hire and retain the right employees to help get us there.

As you will see below, we focused on defining our core values based upon how we behave and conduct business and why we behave and conduct business in those manners.­­­ I’m proud to stand by the results below. Every single day ABS employees behave and make business decisions based upon our established core values. As long as ABS continues to strive daily to make business decisions that align with these values, I have no doubt that together we will reach success.
