Conference Wrap Up: Mid-Atlantic Telehealth Resource Center Summit 2017

Almost a week later, and we are still buzzing about the 2017 MATRC Summit in Lansdowne, VA. It was such an amazing event full of education, inspiration and networking; ABS was proud to be in the midst of it all as a Platinum Sponsor.

MATRC’s mission is to serve as a focal point for advancing the effective use of telehealth and support access to telehealth services in rural and underserved communities.  Bringing the latest technology to rural communities is somewhat of a sweet spot for ABS as we have been logging the windshield time and serving rural communities in various for decades; we are happy and honored to support MATRC members as they work diligently to increase access to quality healthcare while improving patient outcomes for citizens in rural communities.

To kick off the week, ABS made the best of our time spent at the Lansdowne Resort by hosting a client dinner with Imprivata to provide an atmosphere for networking between various healthcare facilities to further discuss telehealth and share best practices and lessons learned. However, the learning and networking didn’t end with dessert as ABS enjoyed participating and attending keynote sessions and educational breakout sessions throughout the remainder of the conference.


We were touched by this sweet ‘thank you’ and many of the others from our summit sponsorship recipients!

A Cisco Partner Sales Academy graduate, Sarah Cartwright marries her technical understanding of the IT industry with her passion for marketing as the Marketing Communications Manager for ABS. In addition to staying on top of both marketing and IT industry trends, Sarah spends her time spearheading ABS’ marketing strategy and communicating ABS’ services and achievements.
