ABS Technology Renews Cisco Certifications: Master Collaboration Certification, Masters Cloud + Managed Services Program Certification + Cisco Gold Partner Certification

June 30, 2017 Company News, Trends

Cisco Systems is behind some of the most sophisticated networks in the world. As one can imagine, they have very high standards. This is why all Cisco Partners must undergo a renewal and audit process on a regular basis to ensure that they are architecting, implementing and supporting networking infrastructures that meet Cisco’s rigorous standards. Cisco wants to ensure that solutions are not only aligning with best practices but also drive business outcomes and help to overcome today’s toughest business challenges.

ABS Technology has been a Cisco Partner since 1999 and achieved Gold status in 2007. Cisco Gold is the highest Cisco partnership level obtainable and is complimented by a variety of resources from Cisco. To achieve Cisco Gold Partner status, partners must undergo the audit process and prove that they have the expertise in house to design, implement and support the latest technologies that Cisco has to offer. To qualify, partners must employ a variety of skilled and certified engineers and also excel in areas such as client satisfaction and support. Partners must also possess multiple Cisco specializations including Advanced Enterprise Networks, Advanced Data Center, Advanced Collaboration and Advanced Security Architecture Specializations.

ABS also renewed the Cisco Master Cloud + Managed Services Certification which is awarded to partners who deliver Cisco based managed services through premium a Network Operations Center (NOC) and offer enhanced managed services. The CMSP also requires partners have established managed service ITIL processes, practices and tools. These practices and this certification prove that ABS has the ability to provide sophisticated managed services and delivers services throughout all phases of the lifecycle: prepare, plan, design, implement, operate and optimize.

The Cisco Master Collaboration Specialization is the highest level for Cisco Collaboration partners. This specialization proves that ABS is an expert when it comes to delivering Cisco’s latest voice, video, and unified communications solutions. This specialization also provides ABS with early exposure to Cisco’s unified communications product roadmaps, access to in-depth trainings and other support resources. To qualify, partners must employ a variety of skilled and certified collaboration engineers and prove their ability to propose, design and deliver the latest Cisco Collaboration Solutions. The audit requirements are so stringent that the process yields only a 50% success rate. After countless days and hours of preparation, this 4-hour mock meeting and demonstration put ABS engineers and team members to the test as they worked together to design, propose, demonstrate and implement a solution that met the requirements of a real-world customer scenario.

ABS exhibited passion, expertise and professionalism throughout each audit which resulted in passing both 2017 audits “with flying colors”. We are proud to say that this accomplishment was a direct result of a key group of ABS family members (shown below) collaborating closely, working together as a team, and supporting one another to accomplish this great feat. The entire organization greatly appreciates all of these individuals for their hard work and sacrifice that ensures ABS is able to continue to solve business challenges, drive business outcomes and provide the best possible solutions to our valued clients.
