2017 – Focus Forward

ABS strives to deliver exceptional client outcomes by creating accountability, increasing efficiencies and providing the highest level of satisfaction. After finishing 2016 strong, I can assure you that in this New Year, everyone at ABS is hyper focused on living up to the expectations and goals we have set for ourselves. To do so, ABS is focusing on a few very strategic initiatives for the year.

Client Experience: ABS has always focused on providing the best customer experience possible. In 2017, we are taking a deep look into the entire customer experience, from the very start to the very end. We are looking for ways to enhance the client experience so that we can serve our clients even better. We aren’t just looking to improve implementations and network designs here. We will dive into things such as client onboarding, billing and post implementation support. You name it; if it touches a client in any way, we are digging deep to see how we can improve the experience at every level possible.

International Organization for Standardization: That’s right; we are on the path to ISO 9001. We have made a commitment to an company-wide effort to create a permanent culture of organization that will continuously improve over time. Obtaining this best-in-class certification will increase organizational visibility (which will also assist in enhancing our client experiences) and bring to light additional areas for efficiency improvement as we continue striving to make ABS a great place to work.

Community: Philanthropic roots were planted within ABS day one in 1972 when my father, John H. Dorroh Jr. established the organization. Community philanthropy has always been near and dear to my heart but I know that one can always be doing more. This year, ABS is focusing on participating in even more local charitable events and giving back to the community more than ever before.  As a matter of fact, for every person that attends our Open House event in Richmond on January 12th ABS is donating $5 to Richmond’s SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now.) Maintaining a clear focus on these initiatives will allow me to reinvest in our growth, culture, communities and employees. I’m confident that we can accomplish these goals due to our talented and dedicated employees that are continuously striving to make a difference through teamwork.  2016 was great, but with our mantra of “Focus Forward” in 2017, this year will prove to be even better.
