ABS Technology Return Policy
We’ve made every attempt to consider our mutual needs as the dealer, solution provider, and end-user. Our objective is to provide our valued customers and partners with a fair and equitable return policy.
Approved returns must be completed within 30-days from date of purchase and may be subject to supplier restocking fees. To request a return or RMA, please contact your ABS Sales/Services representative. A Return Authorization is valid for 20 days from issuance. Returned product will not be accepted without Return Authorization.
Customer is responsible for arranging return shipment at own expense. Return shipments arranged by ABS will be subject to a $15.00 shipping fee per label for standard ground shipments.
Customer will be responsible for all expenses associated with any returns requiring LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight shipments that are coordinated by ABS.
All returned product must be approved by ABS, and product must be factory sealed unless otherwise approved by ABS.
All returns must be packed in an outer carton, in addition to the original box, and properly packaged to arrive safely at the location designated by an ABS Sales/Services representative. An RMA#, model, and quantity must be referenced on the outer shipping box. The safe return of product is the sole responsibility of the individual or business returning the product. Product without outer box, or damaged in shipping due to improper packaging, will be rejected and subject to a $50.00 rejection fee imposed by manufacturer.
ABS cannot accept product in poor or less than “As received” condition (except product received dead on arrival, or damaged in original shipping to Customer). Product in which the original boxes are missing, have been opened, mutilated, written on, or otherwise defaced will be rejected.
A Return Authorization does not guarantee final disposition. All returns are subject to final inspection and testing.
ABS customers shall examine each shipment promptly for correctness and concealed damage. Customers shall advise ABS of discrepancies within 48 hours of receipt, and shall indicate each item being rejected and the reason(s) for rejection. All items not accepted shall be returned in the original factory boxes and materials, and in the same condition as each item was received. Any item not returned within ten days of the notification of rejection shall be deemed accepted by the Buyer.
Product returned to ABS without prior return authorization will be refused.
DOA Product (Dead On Arrival):
If a product is found to be defective within the first seven (7) days after delivery receipt, the product may be returned for an equal exchange. In most cases “trouble shooting” is required before a return authorization will be issued. If any portion of the original packaging and/or accessories is missing, the return may be denied at the discretion of ABS.
Merchandise returned without return authorization, as well as COD and/or freight Collect shipments, will be refused.
It is the sole responsibility of the shipper to ensure that returned items are properly packaged to arrive undamaged.
All returns are subject to inspection and testing. Product found to not be defective may be returned to customer and no credit will be issued.
